house of malia

In 1993, we started Malia Mills with a simple idea –
to engineer tops by bra size, to cut bottoms to SHOW OFF
a variety of shapes… to EMPOWER women to stand and
stride to the water.

Today, we have a designer SWIMWEAR COLLECTION
created for the vixen within. We also have a fresh collection of READY TO WEAR, LINGERIE and delicious ACCESSORIES - all LOVINGLY MADE IN AMERICA and curated in Malia Mills boutiques across the country.

We’re passionate about CELEBRATING women and articulating an inspiring voice on the subject of WOMEN and beauty.

A big shout out to YokiShop, our neighbors in Newport, California. Beautiful Georgia, the daughter of Jeff, the owner of YokiShop, looks spectacular in our blue floral swimcap!
YokiShop is helmed by Jeff Yokoyama (aka Yoki) who was the founder of Maui and Sons, Modern Amusement, and Pirate Surf prior to opening his namesake store.  Under his guise, Jeff oversees 3 different lines that he creates for YokiShop: Pidgeon Orange, Generic Youth, and a collaboration they have with the USC athletic department. With an exceptional eye for detail, Jeff has curated his store to feature some of the most well-crafted surf sportswear for men in addition to a few select pieces from his own vintage archives.  YokiShop epitomizes the Southern California surf culture with one-of-a-kind pieces that are repurposed from beach towels and even old USC football jeresys. Jeff and co. follows a philosophy similar to that of  Malia Mills by lovingly producing all of their products in America. Most YokiShop garments are created in-house and even their screen printing is done locally.  Like MM, they guys at YokiShop are large supporters of local businesses and brands. As small business, they run a tight ship with only a staff of 3: Jeff, the owner, Sergio, who cuts and sews all the pieces, and Scott, who handles sales in-store and online. With everyone on the team having a hand in all aspects of the company, there isn’t a day where you won’t find Jeff at his store- ringing up customers or just chatting up the passing joggers about his brand.
