a holiday in silver sands, jamaica, just perfect… sun, books, a calm and warm sea for bathing, a nap in the shade and more sun again. then, a few red stripes — cold and cheap — at leroy’s beach bar as the light changes, just before ms. jasmine’s rice and peas with the her coconut marinated catch-of-the-day. a glass of appletons on ice in the backyard, and a monumental tropical storm in the middle of the night. five more days and nights just like this gets you darn near heaven. my outfit was on repeat, too: the malia mills lots of love triangle top with my coveted mm calendar girl brief, a wooden bangle and no shoes.
