i adore our ‘my woman from tokyo’ dress in the fiery shade of taos. in my closet, it has a life of its very own. how could it not, with that vibrant, summery hue? i drape it on when i want to feel special, even if it’s just for a trip to the coffee shop. the fashion connoisseur in my boyfriend loves it too – so much so he wanted to document it via his style blog average folk.  we recently spent the day hanging out around nyc, scouting out lively backdrops for ‘my woman’ and for his woman too. we were compelled by one brick building after another as the blazing shade of tomato red seemed to repel off the walls. on one particular graffiti ridden wall, the dress blended beautifully into all of the swirls of colors, like a piece of art - maybe it was meant to be.
